Well, it's been a while. Things are really good here. Lily has settled in and found her voice. She makes some of the cutest sounds. She is trying to eat more solid table foods, but sometimes really prefers the baby 3rds food. She does love grapefruit, pineapple and string cheese. She is getting 2 more teeth (upper laterals). She is going to look so cute with 4 teeth on the top!

She has been diagnosed with plagiocephaly. Basically she has severe flatness on one side of her head. They say it's a cosmetic disorder and doesn't restict brain growth, but her doctor wants a catscan done on her head to make sure. We'll be doing that at the end of April. She is lucky that because she has such severe flattening that it did not affect the rest of her head hardly at all and she should grow up and be beautiful.

Must go read about "Fuzzy yellow ducklings"........

Yesterday...

Yesterday, I woke up before Lily which is unusual. I thought her room sounded so quiet, so as all the terrible things went through my head I went and checked on her. There she was just snoozing away looking so peaceful, sleeping in.

This is how I found her...

After breakfast we went for a walk/jog in my yard sale jogging stroller. It was the first time using it and it is pretty sweet! We had a great time out there. The weather was beautiful, probably in the 70's at 9:00am. I am soooo sore today...pretty much out of shape.

Do you think I was a little bit paranoid of sunburning that beautiful olive skin.....?

It has been a while since I have updated. It is a lot harder to get on the computer these days:)
Lily and I went up to Washington State to visit her new Grandma and Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. We stayed a week and had a really great time. Lily was the best child while we were there. She loves meeting new people and just gives everyone the biggest smile. She is really a very happy baby and just hangs out, very easy going. She has been a lot of fun to watch grow and develop. When we brought her home she didn't know how to feed herself finger foods. She does so well at it now. She loves her bottle and just relaxes while she sucks on it instead of rushing down her throat. She smiles alot and laughs outloud. She loves other children and loves to play. We have this toy that when you press down on the handle it plays music and balls come flying out and then back down to come out again. She has learned how to make it work and absolutely loves it. She gets so excited and bounces up and down everytime it comes on.
P.S. You can click on the picture to make it bigger :).
