Today is our official adoption date. We passed the interviews and now she is ours forever! We are officially mama and baba to "Wua Wua." (wa wa) nickname pronounced with a soft "a"

Lily has taken 3 naps today. She gets really fussy and we are somehow not making her bottle right. She wants it but there is something just not right about it. Somehow we have to figure this out.

That bottle thing is tough! We were told Eve liked her formula, but were never able to fix a bottle that she was very excited about. Most of the time she refused it altogether. I did have several moms tell us after we were home that the Chinese usually fix their bottles with hotter water than we do,and I probably wasn't making it hot enough. One other way she can get her calcium is with a drink called Wahaha. It just comes in little individual bottles with a little straw. You can get it at the WalMart there in Nanning, and Grace loved it. Good luck!
You look natural as a mom!

Congrats on becoming "officially" a family!
The bottle thing (along with a lot of other stuff) is just going to be trial and error. My hubby and I felt so ridiculous sometimes trying to figure out how to make baby happy... New parents, new daughter...staying in a HOTEL in a FOREIGN COUNTRY...you guys are doin great!!!

We are so happy that the wait is finally over. She is so perfect! You're going to have your ups and downs at first, but you will soon see that every second of the crying is worth it. She's gonna get use to those bottles just give it some time. She has to get through a bunch of changes. Once you get home things are going to be so much easier. I want to hold that baby girl.... Could it be the kind of bottle? The nipple maybe? We miss you.. Get back here!!
