Well, it's been a while. Things are really good here. Lily has settled in and found her voice. She makes some of the cutest sounds. She is trying to eat more solid table foods, but sometimes really prefers the baby 3rds food. She does love grapefruit, pineapple and string cheese. She is getting 2 more teeth (upper laterals). She is going to look so cute with 4 teeth on the top!

She has been diagnosed with plagiocephaly. Basically she has severe flatness on one side of her head. They say it's a cosmetic disorder and doesn't restict brain growth, but her doctor wants a catscan done on her head to make sure. We'll be doing that at the end of April. She is lucky that because she has such severe flattening that it did not affect the rest of her head hardly at all and she should grow up and be beautiful.

Must go read about "Fuzzy yellow ducklings"........

Nancy, I'm surprised that she is described as having "severe" flatness of the head. It doesn't have the appearance of being severe to me. I'm glad they are doing the MRI though just to set your mind at ease. I can't imagine anything will come of it though, so don't worry.

Lily is beautiful both inside and out...just like her momma!

I didn't think that the flatness was severe either. She'll be fine. Ava's head has a flat area too and her doctor isn't concerned. Lily is beautiful and as soon as our daughters' hair grows, no one will notice their flat spots. ;)
